One hundred and forty two wild mushrooms encountered on the markets in Yunnan, China were included in this atlas, among of which 141 species were provided with color photos reaching a total of 242 plates and 1 with drawing of fruiting body. Except for very few ones, most species had descriptions on diagnoses, information on markets, sales volume, commercial value and illustrations of spores summing up to 136 plates. Instructions for preparing necessary reagents for identification were provided and taxonomic terms involved in the text were interpreted briefly so that readers can understand the description properly.
