About this book
Important reference on the identification of Northern European trees containing illustrations of trees, bark, leaf and fruit, and covering more than 1000 species and varieties. Moore has spent 12 years painting the thousands of exquisite illustrations and his pictures have an extraordinary life and vibrancy. He has an almost fanatical eye for detail, for example in the variety of animals used to give scale to the trees. Eminent dendrologist John White provides the text. A very beautiful book.
