(Chinese with English Summary)
By Wang Zhongming
From May to October 1993, an on-the-spot research of soil gastropods was carried out in the Changbai Mountain Forestry Research Stations, Jilin. Only 15 species of soil gastropods were recognized to belong to 13 genera of 9 families, The results show that values of species richness index and Shannon-Wiener index are the lowest in May and highest in August, then decreased gradually. The average Shannon-Wiener index is high in May and low in July. The pureness index is high in May and low in October. The Shannon-Wiener index of soil gastropods living in the layer of dead leaves is higher than that of the soil

11. Species diversity of terrestrial mollusk in Nanjiang Valley Park, Kaiyang, Guizhou, China
(Chinese with English Summary)
By He Linjing
The species compositions and diversity of terrestrial mollusk, collected in four different kinds of habitats in Nanjiang Valley Park, were reported in the paper. About 5000 specimens identified belong to 65 species, 2 ordes, 11 families and 36 genera. The results of diversity analysis show that values of species richness indexes DMA in 4 different kinds of habitats rang from 1.092 to 4.492; species diversity index H’ ranges from 0.812 to 0.903; and evenness indexes Jsw rang from 0.235 to 0.505. On the basis of similarity coefficients CC in Table 3, the four different kinds of habitats can be clearly clustered into 2 groups by the systematic clustering: original forest group and secondary habitat group. If original forest is once thoroughly exploited, all the forest species and guantity of terrestrial mollusk will decrease and even disappear.

A comparative study on radular morphology of fifteen species of terrestrial mollusk
(Chinese with English Summary)
By Zhou Fangbing
The radula of 15 species of terrestrial mollusks, belonging to 7 families 15 genera, are compared on the basis of scanning electron microscopic (SEM) observation and described in detail. The radula bears many transverse rows of teeth, and a number of teeth in a transverse row. But the teeth all bear cusps. There are many obvious differences in number and shape of lateral teeth and marginal teeth of different families. The cusps in the same generas were similar with each other.

31. Preliminary Study on Phylogenetic Relationships and Zoogeography of Genus Boysidia Ancey, 1881 (Stylommatophora: Pupillidae) From China
(In English)
By Zhang Weihong
The phylogeny of Chinese Boysidia has been investigated by cladistic methods using the Hennig 86 program (Version 1.5). Seventeen morphological characters were used in this analysis. Hypselostoma tubiferum and Gyliauchen hungerfordianus were chosen as outgroups. The preferred parsimonious cladogram was calculated by the command ie~* with progressive weighting method. In the resulting phylogenetic reconstruction, seventeen Chinese species of genus Boysidia were divided into two groups that supported the proposition of J. Thiele (1931). On the basis of the Dispersal-Vicariance analysis, a historical biogeographical scenario was hypothesized: the form of the present distribution pattern of Boysidia in China may be related to the most strong uplift of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
