Biography

Brian and Wilma Rittershausen come from a family of orchid experts who have had an orchid nursery since the 1940s. They have lectured and written on orchids and have published a number of important books on the subject. Wilma was editor of "The Orchid Review", the official orchid journal of the Royal Horticultural Society, for fifteen years. Brian is a British Orchid Council and Royal Horticultural Society judge, while the nursery consistently exhibits Gold Medal displays at the Chelsea Flower Show.
