About this product

This audio CD presents a comprehensive collection of calls and further vocalizations of "Wolves, Jackals and Dogs" featuring 15 species in 66 recordings. Although the focus is on European species, the compilation is enhanced by characteristic voices of their closest relatives. First the Wolf is portrayed in detail, but all other species of the genus Canis (Jackals, Coyote) are also included. In addition, the Raccoon Dog, the Dhole, the Bush Dog and the Maned Wolf can be heard. This collection of voices of the canids ends with the Domestic Dog, a direct descendant of the Wolf. The accompanying booklet in German, English and French gives detailed information on every recording and the behavioral con-text. Experience the fascination of Wolves while listening to their voices!
