About this book

Language: Russian

This book contains the results of long-term scientific research on the biota of hypersaline waters of the Republic of Kalmykia, Russia. The studies were conducted in different climatic indicator years. Particular attention is paid to the study of the biology and reproduction of Artemia salina L. in the natural environment and in the laboratory. The material can be applied in the development of techniques to improve the natural regime of the water quality in the environment in order to increase bio-productivity of water bodies, which ultimately will help save natural reproduction, or maintain artificial reproduction of Artemia in hypersaline waters of Kalmykia, and prevent a decline in reserves below the minimum biologically acceptable level.
