Biography

After a master's degree in art direction at ESAG Penninghen, author-illustrator Amandine Delaunay worked in a global design agency. She now works independently, creating her images by hand, inspired by traditional engraving techniques. She has illustrated several books, including Entre chats, the Histoires naturelles series and Livre de la Nuit. This is the first book she has written, researched in collaboration with palaeontologists, oceanographers and marine specialists.
