The taxonomic section of this volume describes four tribes, 49 genera and 299 species of the leafhopper subfamily Evacanthinae from China. Among them, eight genera and 76 species are new to science, two genera and one species are reported as new records for China, and 26 new combinations and 21 specific synonyms are proposed from China. At the same time, 299 figures of male genitalia and 14 plates are provided. Identification keys to the Chinese tribes, genera and species of Evacanthinae are included.
