About this book

Language: Trilingual introduction in English, German and Mongolian. Scientific and Mongolian nomenclature. Includes English appendix

In this book about the flora of Mongolia more than 1000 colour photos of more than 400 species of vascular plants belonging to more than 70 families are presented. That is approximately 15 % of the species of this group existing in Mongolia. The introduction is written in English, Mongolian and German. The appendix in English indicates information about the distribution, the locality, the plant was found, and about synonyms. Scientific names of the plants were used as well as the Mongolian names of the plants.

The intention of the authors is to offer a graphic supplement to the existing floras of Mongolia by publishing photographic pictures as detailed as possible.
