This book is a celebration of the frangipani family, inspiring gardeners and flower lovers throughout the world.
Linda Ross shares the fun of gardening through magazines, television, and radio, in books and in person. She has studied landscape architecture and horticulture in Sydney. She is passionate about plants and is fanatical about frangipanis, her collection numbering into the hundreds- they remind her of surfing, sunshine and happy days. Having trained in botany, horticulture and landscape architecture, John Stower's career has encompassed positions as landscapes architect, nursery owner, propagator, TV Gardner, writer and teacher over a long period of time. Lorna Ross adores frangipanis and was trilled to be involved as the photographer for this book. She first encountered them 1964, in what was then Ceylon, when immigrating to Australia from the UK. There "the locals scattered the blooms across our passing vehicles". She studied horticulture in Sydney and later turned to photographing plants and gardens for all kinds of gardening publications
