About this product

Ex-demo unit available at discounted price. It has been used indoors once and the packaging has some slight damage from opening, however it is fully functional operationally and includes all accessories.

The IR510P is an updated version of the IR510 thermal imaging monocular and includes a range of new and exciting features. The IR510P will now store images internally and has WiFi capabilities, allowing you to transfer your images to a Smartphone or WiFi enabled device. It also has a ‘hotbox’ function: this highlights the hottest object on the screen with a box around it.

This compact handheld thermal imager has a 384 x 288 sensor and 19mm lens which enables detection of a man-sized object at a distance of up to 400m. Digital zoom is switchable between 2x and 4x and the screen is a 320 x 240 LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon) which offers excellent contrast and response time. There are five operating modes available: Black hot, White hot, Red hot 1, Red hot 2 and Red hot 3.

The IR510P has only four buttons which makes it very simple to use. Each button controls only one function: power, brightness, mode or zoom. A built-in rechargeable battery provides a run time of up to eight hours. The base of the unit has a ¼” tripod mount and a micro-USB port which is used for charging the battery. It also has a video out port.

The device is very rugged and has been drop tested to one metre. It has an IP67 rating so it can be immersed in a meter of water for up to 30m.
