About this book

This book marks the culmination of a 30 year project. Its purpose is to preserve and share the unique heritage of Zimbabwean trees, whether indigenous or exotic, whether single specimens, groves, or stands - that are notable for one reason or another. This single volume could not possibly include all of Zimbabwe's significant trees. It does, however, represent the start of a project that could run to several volumes.

Treasure of History

I loved this labor of love. The descriptions of the most magnificent trees, their locations and lore was fascinating. Has given me the urge to go and look for them...even if it's just via google earth. Well done.
