About this book

Language: Spanish

The cougar was the inspiration for this extraordinary journey through mountains, glaciers, forests, oceans, jungles and deserts. Fifteen months of route across continents in search of seven animals in danger of extinction. Andoni Canela's challenge was to find and photograph the cougar, but also the Iberian wolf, the bison, the gentoo, the marine crocodile, the bicorne hornbill and the African elephant. Canela also made this an unusual kind of adventure: he was accompanied by his partner, writer Meritxell Margarit, and their two children, nine and three years. The daily experiences with wild animals are mixed with stories of travel and the growth of their children.
