In this work 19 new species of Pedaria beetles are described : P. werneri n. sp., P. walteri n. sp., P. tanganyika n. sp., P. murphyi n. sp, P. sudrei n. sp., P. dudleyi n. sp, P. biseria n. sp., P. smrzi n. sp., P. aethiopica n. sp., P. juhellegrandi n. sp., P. minima n. sp., P. spinipennis n. sp., P. morettoi n. sp., P. oblonga n. sp., P. demeyeri n. sp., P. cambeforti n. sp., P. gigantea n. sp., P. brancoi n. sp., P. genieri n. sp., from R.C.A., Ethiopia, Somalia, Congo, R.D.C (ex Zaïre), Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Bissao island; four synomyms are suggested and two species are restored. This second contribution to the knowledge of African Scarabaeidae is a preliminary work for a next revision of the genus Pedaria.
