About this book

Language: French

Les Familles des Plantes à Fleurs d'Europe characterizes the main families of flowering plants in Europe, as well as some exotic large families, treating 174 families in total, and is abundantly illustrated. It's approaches this in a consensual approach between the traditional classification, based on more than two centuries of traditional botany, and recent molecular finding that shine a new light on systematic botany. Properties and uses of the main species are discussed briefly in this book, opening the way to a utilitarian botany.
