Spain has a huge natural heritage and rich biodiversity, and is highly vulnerable to climate change. To address and reduce this vulnerability the PNACC (Plan Nacional de Adaptación al Cambio Climático, a National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change) has promoted various projects and initiatives.

The preparation of this report has been carried out through a broad participatory process involving numerous researchers and national and international experts from different administrations, universities, research centers, and other organizations. The representativeness of this participatory process is reflected in the fact that a total of 140 authors with affiliations representative of the diversity of research centers that exist in Spain have contributed.

España alberga un enorme patrimonio natural y una rica biodiversidad, muy vulnerable frente al cambio climático. Para hacer frente y reducir esta vulnerabilidad el PNACC ha promovido diversos proyectos e iniciativas.

La elaboración de este informe se ha llevado a cabo a través de un amplio proceso participativo que ha implicado a numerosos investigadores y expertos nacionales e internacionales de diferentes administraciones, universidades, centros de investigación, y otras organizaciones. La representatividad de este proceso participativo queda reflejada por los siguientes datos: Un total de 140 autores contribuyentes con afiliaciones representativas de la diversidad de centros de investigación que existen en España.
