Biography

Nigel Dennis is an award-winning photographer based in South Africa with several books to his credit. He spends most of his time in the bush specialising in the wildlife of Africa's great open spaces. David Macdonald is a world authority on carnivore behaviour and director of the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit at Oxford University. He undertook the first major study of meerkats in the Kalahari in the 1980s.
