Important diagnostic characters, comments on bionomics, distribution and habitat, reference to original description, known synonyms, citations of important literature, drawings of imago, genitalia and mine in each species. Description of 4 new species: Stigmella johanssonella sp. n., Trifurcula magna sp. n., T. calycotomella sp. n. and Acalyptris maritima sp. n. Ectoedemia tergestina (Klimesch, 1940) established as a junior synonym of E. euphorbiella (Stainton, 1869).
