The Opticron Explorer WA ED Roof Prism binoculars offer a fantastic combination of quality, high specification and ergonomics that are rare in this price category. The carefully designed optical system comprises complex multi-element eyepieces that deliver an impressive wide-angle field of view with minimum levels of edge distortion. The extensive field of view makes them ideal for surveying wide landscapes or fast moving animals and they also have a good close focus distance for work with insects. Fitted in combination with extra-low dispersion (ED) glass to reduce chromatic aberration, Oasis-C high light transmission coating, BaK-4 phase corrected prisms and fully multi-coated lenses, the results are seen in crisp clear images with impressive colour reproduction.

The Explorer WA’s compact optical system is fitted into a lightweight magnesium alloy body that provides excellent balance for all hand sizes. The textured soft-touch rubber covering has a tactile finish that enhances comfort and makes the binoculars easy to pick-up, grip and use. The Opticron Explorer WA ED binoculars are fully nitrogen waterproofed and can withstand even the toughest of conditions. Supplied with soft case, padded neckstrap, integrated objective lens covers, rainguard and Opticron microfibre cleaning cloth. Covered by Opticron's 10 year guarantee.
