About this book

Language: Trilingual in English, Portuguese, and Spanish

Pantanal: Wild / Selvagem / Salvaje is the result of a relentless pursuit of nature photographer Mike Bueno to gather shots of spectacular wildlife in the Brazilian Pantanal of Mato Grosso, predominantly in Poconé, Cáceres, Baron Melgaço Porto Cercado, Porto Jofre and the Pantanal National Park, the stretch bordering Bolivia. Over nearly two decades, he has conducted more than 130 trips to the Pantanal and gathered a collection of approximately 250 000 photographs of idyllic landscapes, scenes and details of wildlife in the Pantanal. Of these images, 240 are collected here. Pantanal: Wild / Selvagem / Salvaje contains an introduction to the Pantanal by Luiz Vicente Campos Filho, MSc in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation, and text by journalist Martha Baptista.
