The Petzl Actik Core is a carefully designed professional headtorch which is suitable for all outdoor activities. On its brightest white light settings it can generate a beam of 450 lumens for up to 2 hours, while its medium brightness setting can generate a 100 lumen beam for 12 hours and its lowest brightness setting can generate a 6 lumen beam for up to 130 hours. It features two different beam patterns (flood and mixed) and a red light setting which is excellent for preserving night vision. It is operated by a single button which allows for quick and easy selection through different beam settings. It also has a lock function which prevents the lamp from being accidentally turned on whilst it is in transit or storage. The headband is made of a reflective material which aids with visibility at night. The Actik Core has been designed using Petzl's 'Hybrid Concept' which allows the headtorch to be powered either by three AAA batteries or using the Petzl CORE rechargeable lithium-ion battery (included).
