Please note - we have recently switched our plankton nets to using a larger cod end filter to make them compatible with a wider range of accessories, this page is for the older design with the smaller filter. We only have a couple of nets left in the older design so if you require a large number of these nets please contact us before placing your order.

These plankton nets have a frame diameter of 250mm and a 880mm long bag. The nets are available with a 10µm, 20µm, 30µm, 53µm, 100µm, 150µm or 250µm mesh bag which is made from nylon precision mesh and have a screw on filter with the same mesh size as the main body of the net. 

The nets are suitable for towing behind a boat or from a suitable bank, beach or jetty and are supplied with a 7m long towing line and harness.

If you are using the plankton net in saline or brackish water please rinse in freshwater after use and dry thoroughly to protect the net fixtures.
