About this product

A replacement rain shield for use with the Ranger Capio moth trap. Available with or without legs.

Please note: NHBS recommends the use of a rainshield with both MV and MBT lamps. A rainshield may also help to extend the life of your actinic  light source. MV and MBT lamps must not be operated uncovered in rain or with the shield in conditions of wind-blown slanting rain as raindrops may cause the bulb to crack or explode. For attended trapping and public events we would recommend the use of actinic bulbs.
