This bright, action-packed volume Ripley's Believe it or Not! Space reveals the high-tech world of space as you've never seen it before. It not only explains how to look at the night sky and how planets and stars were formed, but reveals fascinating facts about the history of space exploration.
Did you know, for example, that Discovery blasted off in 2009 with a bat clinging to its external tank? Informative, off-beat and fun, the lavishly illustrated Ripley's Believe it or Not! Space will appeal to even the most reluctant of readers.

Robert LeRoy Ripley was an American cartoonist, who created and developed the world-famous Ripley's Believe It or Not! cartoon strip in the years after the First World War. He travelled the globe in search of unusual objects and stories, and built up an extraordinary collection of everything from shrunken heads to dinosaur eggs and iron maidens. These are now exhibited in Ripley museums around the world, including one in London's Piccadilly Circus. The Ripley's Believe It or Not! annual has become an international best-seller.
