The NHBS Monthly Catalogue is a free online and .pdf information service for registered subscribers. Each issue contains bibliographic details and descriptions of new and forthcoming wildlife, science, conservation, environment and sustainable development titles, the latest additions to our online catalogue.
We act as the distributor, agent or main stockist for over 160 wildlife, science and conservation publishers. Our Distribution Service is tailored to the needs of conservation organisations, museums, zoos, botanic gardens, scientific societies and other specialist natural history and environment publishers who want to concentrate on getting their titles to the right market.

The aim of this scheme is to provide ecology and conservation books to those from outside Western Europe, North America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand who would otherwise be unable to obtain them. The simple purpose of this scheme is to spread ecological knowledge as widely as possible. This scheme is a collaboration between the British Ecological Society (who pay for the postage), the NHBS (who co-ordinate and organise the distribution) and the publishers and authors of the books (who provide the books for free).
NHBS has over 20 years experience supplying libraries and organisations around the world with natural history, environment and science titles. We aim to provide reliable and competitive supply, along with friendly and personal attention by focusing on six key service areas:
NHBS supplies bookshops, wholesalers and library suppliers around the world, both with titles for which we are directly the distributor, and for hard-to-find titles which we specialise in tracking down for our customers.
