About Us
In this edition: Find out about the great discounts we are offering on University of Chicago Press books this month. The collection features books on a range of natural history and science subjects, written by some of the world’s most talented and influential scientists.

Other highlights: The new Charter for Trees, Woods and People is discussed on the NHBS Blog and we chat to marine biologist and conservationist Guy Stevens about his work with manta rays. Two newly published books allow us to look at the challenges and opportunities in modern conservation science and provide a wonderful insight into the journals of birdwatcher Frank Jarvis. We prepare for the wet winter weather with a comprehensive range of waterproof bags and cases in Luanne's Kit Bag.

In Manta he has joined forces with National Geographic photographer Thomas Peschak to create a visually stunning and informative tribute to these animals.

To coincide with the re-release of the book, we spoke to Guy about his work with Mantas and the conservation challenges that they face.
