About this product

The SP60 Trinocular Microscope is a laboratory standard compound microscope that combines an ergonomic design with excellent technical specifications at a very competitive price. It has LED illumination and  full Kohler illumination with on/off switch and rheostat control, which allows you to control the brightness very effectively, making it ideal for photomicrography. A 240V to 110V switching option means that it is suitable for use worldwide.

The technical features include a fully focusing substage condenser (N.A. 1.25) with internal iris diaphragm and filter carrier, and a mechanical stage with drop down controls and vernier reference scales. There are low position co-axial coarse and fine focus controls. The fine focus is graduated for specimen depth measurement. Slides are protected by a stage focus stop, and the high power objectives have spring loaded front lenses. There is an adjustable tension control to maintain the tightness of the focusing system.

The SP60 comes with x10 widefield eyepieces and four achromatic objectives: x4, x10, x40 and x100 (oil immersion), with numerical apertures of 0.1, 0.25, 0.65 and 1.25 respectively. Eyepieces and objective lenses are DIN standard. The trinocular head is fully rotating and has fully interpupillary and dioptric adjustment with a magnification of x1. A push-pull lever controls the image to the trinocular tube and therefore to a camera.
