Biography

Dominic Couzens is based in Dorset and is a full time ornithologist, leading birdwatching trips at home and abroad. He is co-author of the best selling CD series Teach Yourself Bird Sounds and has written a number of books including The Mitchell Beazley Pocket Guide to Garden Birds, Birds of Britain and Ireland and The Secret Lives of Garden Birds. He has a regular column in Bird Watching magazine. Steve Young has been a full-time photographer since 1993. He is Photographic Consultant for Birdwatch magazine and his photographs have been published in numerous magazines and books, including The Photographic Handbook of Rare Birds of Britain and Europe and The Photographic Handbook of the Wildfowl of the World, both published by New Holland. Steve lives in Liverpool.
