About this book

Language: English

The first edition of The Tiger Beetles of Thailand appeared in French in 1991 and was published by the Linnean Society (Lyon). It offered a total of 103 taxons collected by the first author himself to which 20 taxons were subsequently added. This revised and and completely updated second edition now contains 132 recognised taxons, some of which have only recently been identified. A brief description has been given of all the Cicindeles recorded up to 1950 and of those which belong to the fauna of Thailand. Other discoveries made at earlier dates have been noted and may be confirmed later.
