Language: English

This film has been made by Claus and Ingrid Koenig, made in the Northern "Schwarzwald" (Black Forest of Germany) during the last 15 years and is part of the long-term study of about 45 years on the Eurasian Pygmy Owl (Glaucidium passerinum) the "Feathered Goblin".

This film will not only document sections of ecology and reproductive biology of this tiny owlet, but also stimulate to think about how to preserve the whole ecosystem "Schwarzwald" with its typical fauna and flora, being endangered by alternations in environment.

The DVD is of excellent quality with beautifull close-ups of the owls and other birds.
