Each of the 200 species in this volume is presented on a two-page spread with the color plate to the right. In the upper half of the facing left-hand page is text in English with comments on the current name and taxonomic status, ecology, distribution, etc., as well as a brief description. In addition to this there is a dot map generated from the more than 700 000 records in the Flora Hellenica Database. Species of particular interest include, e.g.: Hyoscyamus aureus, Rhamnus sibthorpianus, Pancratium maritimum, Sternbergia colchiciflora, Fritillaria sibthorpiana, Bruckenthalia spiculifolia and Saxifraga sempervivum.

The re-issue has been published in 5 volumes, each corresponding to two volumes of the original Flora Graeca and is available as a 5-volume set at a reduced price as well.
