Four new, dramatic and compelling stories from the award-winning series The Natural World features breathtaking photography and gripping narrative across a diverse array of wildlife stories.

The episodes included on this high-definition Blu-ray disc are The Wild Places of Essex, Birds of Paradise, Forest Elephants and Andrea - Queen of the Mantas.

In The Wild Places of Essex, award-winning writer Robert Macfarlane encounters peregrine falcons at Tilbury Power Station, deer rutting in earshot of the M25, barn owls, badgers and bluebells in Billericay and a large colony of common seals. Birds of Paradise, narrated by David Attenborough, follows a team of New Guinean naturalists deep in the rainforest as they try to film the spectacular birds of paradise and their bizarre courtship displays.

Filming in an elephant oasis in the Central African Republic, Forest Elephants takes a closer look at this critically endangered species, the smaller, more elusive cousin of the African elephant that inhabits the dark rainforests. Finally, Andrea - Queen of the Mantas follows marine biologist Andrea Marshall, an expert on the Manta Ray, and features superb underwater photography of these graceful giants of the ocean.
