About this book

Language: Dutch

The Veldgids Schelpen is a completely revised edition of the 2004 book by the same name that has been out of print for some time. This new edition includes marine gastropods. The species have been divided clearly by class. Colour photos have been included for each species to ease species recognition.

The guide also gives brief information on appearance, identification, ecology, and distribution. A glossary, reference list, list of useful addresses, and name registers of scientific and vernacular Dutch names have been included. This guide is suitable for both amateur and more experienced shell collectors.
