Biography

Yves Cohat is an anthropologist with specialist knowledge of the fishing communities of northern Europe and their strategies for survival. He is the author of numerous articles and popular scientific books. Anne Collet has been the director of the Centre de Recherche sur les Mammiferes Marins at La Rochelle since 1995. She has written widely on related subjects.
