Batbox Batscan Software is optimised for use with the Batbox Duet, but also for use with other TE and FD detectors.

Provides fast and easy analysis of bat sonar. Easy to install, BatScan will record and play back sound samples through your windows compatible sound card. However, a sound card is not necessary in order to analyze and display audio spectrograms. BatScan processes PCM format digital audio data such as .wav sound files and the CD includes 12 reference calls. Default settings have been optimised for use with Batbox Duet. Batscan is suitable for all bat species, including North American species.

BatScan will run under Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.Please note that this programme only runs on the 32-bit versions of Windows XP, Vista and 7. It will not work using the 32-bit emulator provided with the 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Vista and 7.
BatScan runs best with a 1.6 gHz or faster processor and a fast graphics card.
BatScan runs best with 1 gigabyte or more of RAM memory
BatScan requires 16 or 24 bit colour and will not operate with 8 bit (256) colour.
