Bildatlas der Moose Deutschlands
This photographic atlas illustrates all bryophyte species of Germany with photographs. Each species is illustrated on one A5 page, by a combination of macroscopic and microscopic pictures, showing the typical appearence as well as all relevant diagnostic characters (see examples below).
Since the completion of this project will take many years, the plates of the atlas will be published in fascicles on punched pages. In this way, additional species or species not yet treated can be added later.
