A joint project of the Swedish Natural History Museum and Ornithological Society, this comprehensive atlas is designed to give an overview of available recoveries, in such a way as to allow the reader to compare the results for different species. Species presentations vary in detail and are not intended as complete scientific treatments, but rather as incentives to future research. Introductory chapters are in Swedish and English and the species accounts have English summaries. Illustrations by Peter Larsson.
