Biography

Carlos Brisola Marcondes has worked on medical entomology since 1974, publishing three books (one of them on arthropod borne diseases and another in the 2nd edition), 16 chapters and almost 90 papers on indexed scientific journals. He concluded his Ph. D. in 1997, and has worked mostly on Phlebotominae, Triatominae and Culicidae, besides related diseases. He has supervised several students and collaborated with many researchers in Brazil, US, UK and other countries, publishing with ca. 150 collaborators.
