Twenty-four species of Aster and one species of Brachyactis occur in Oklahoma. The taxonomic treatment of these species was originally prepared for inclusion in the planned Flora of Oklahoma and is presented here as a separate study with permission of the trustees and editors of the Flora Oklahofoma Project.
