Biography

Jim Meuninck is a biologist and counselor who, for more than thirty years, has studied the use of wild plants as food and medicine in North America, Europe, Central America, Japan, and China. He lives on the shores of Eagle Lake, in Edwardsburg, Michigan.

Rebecca Meuninck, Ph.D. is environmental health expert and anthropologist. She is the Deputy Director of the Ecology Center in Ann Arbor, MI. Her work is focused at the intersection between the environment and human health. She has studied ethnobotany and sustainable agriculture with a focus on organic and fair trade coffee production in Brazil, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica.
