A witty, contemporary fable about an adorable bear who loves to hug everything in the forest, even a beaver. What he loves most of all though are trees. So one day when he sees a man staring at a tree, he is sure that the man must love trees as much as him. When the man begins to chop down the tree, the bear succeeds in containing his anger, gives the man a hug instead, and manages to save the tree. Nicholas Oldland earned a degree in fine arts at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, Canada, and enjoyed success as a commercial artist before taking up the role of creative director at Hatley, a popular apparel company he runs with his brothers.
