Bird Ringing Circlip Pliers

About this product

These de-ringing circlip pliers are an absolute essential for bird ringers or bird banders, and should always be carried during ringing sessions in case a metal ring needs to be removed or replaced. They are also useful for opening plastic or darvic colour rings when applying to a bird's leg. The de-ringing pliers come in two sizes for opening rings of 2-5 mm (BTO sizes AA to C) or 5-11 mm (BTO sizes D to G).  These pliers have fine angled tips to enable safe removal of even the tiniest rings, and are drop forged from high alloy steel, hardened and tempered for strength and endurance.  They have chequered handles to provide extra grip.
