About this product

Language: bilingual booklet in English and French

For the first time, sounds of 230 bird species found in French Guiana were brought together (almost 4 hours of listening!). These sounds have been recorded by members of the GEPOG (Groupe d'Etude et de Protection des Oiseaux en Guyane). The original recordings were deposited in the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris. Theses CDs present calls and songs of birds living in forests, forest edges, clearings, gardens and parks. With a few exceptions, calls and songs of the most common and most characteristic birds, or of birds known for their famous vocal performances, were brought together. A booklet in French an English, giving all information about the recordings, accompanies this box with three CDs.
