About this product

Please note, this can also be bought as part of an 8-disc set covering the years 1998-2007.

The winter of 2007 brought some totally unexpected visitors to Cornwall. Notably two extremely rare Diver species, Pacific and White-billed. The latter will stay in many a birder's memory, not just for it's rarity status, but for the incredibly close views it treated us to.

Those who had a mind to could see all five diver species in one day. Where else in Britain could you do that?

Although to many, the migration periods of Spring and Autumn did not live up to expectation and make this year a classic one. There was still plenty to see. Some highlights being Glossy Ibis, Franklin's Gull, Buff-bellied Pipt, Cattle Egrets, Hume's Warbler and Blackpoll Warbler. More common species are also well represented in this film, along with our usual sequences of butterflies and dragonflies.

Running time: 74 minutes. Full commentary throughout.
