Birds of the Aegean presents the birds of the Aegean sea. Contains 86 photographs of various artists, many of which are published here for the first time. The first half of Birds of the Aegean describes Aegean bird- and wildlife, migration, wintering and bird habitats, with the second half describing seabirds, and birds found in wetlands and on land. As such, Birds of the Aegean is not a field guide in the traditional sense, but more of an introduction to bird life in this area of Greece.
