About this book

Language: French

The Mediterranean is particularly frequented by whales – with 7 species commonly observed in the Ligurian Sea (bassoon Corso-Ligurian-Provençal). Among them, the fin whale is probably one of the most iconic marine mammals in the region. Cétacés en Méditerranée traces 12 years of "Cap cetaceans", the iconic scientific mission of WWF France, led by Denis Ody, Doctor of Oceanology and scientific advisor of the "marine protected areas" WWF program. Through it, we now know these amazing and mysterious mammals a little bit better.
