About this product

The Challenger Niger Feeder is a plastic feeder specifically designed to be used with niger seeds. Niger seed is particularly fine and this feeder has specially designed feeding ports with a smaller gauge than regular feeders to minimise spillage. The feeder is available with either four or six feeding ports each with a perching ring, which enable birds to feed in a more natural, forward facing position. This feeding position allows birds to keep an eye out for predators, which increases their confidence and means they will remain at the feeder for longer.

Due to its design only small finches, such as goldfinches and redpolls are able to use this feeder.
