Plankton provide a vital link at the base of many marine food webs and by monitoring this key group we can track ongoing climatic and environmental changes within our oceans. At NHBS we design and manufacture our own plankton nets on-site, so we can offer a range frame and mesh sizes. Plankton nets can be towed from sea vessels or used from a suitable bank, jetty or beach. We also offer an option to attach a plankton net to our Professional Hand Net.
