BugDorm

BugDorm have been supplying equipment for entomological research and teaching since they were established in 1995. Their products have become firm favourites with both professional and amateur entomologists and they are continually being developed to address the challenges encountered by field and lab workers everywhere.

The BugDorm range of insect breeding cages and tents are designed to be simple to construct and compact to store. They range from boxes, pots and small tabletop cages to large walk-in tents. Many are available with a choice of polyester or fine nylon mesh, the latter being ideal for tiny insects such as aphids, parasitic wasps and thrips. A combination of stocking sleeves and zippered openings makes access to the cages easy and, in all designs, the framework is located on the outside of the cage, meaning that small specimens will not get lost in corners around supporting poles.

More information on the BugDorm range can be found in our BugDorm blogpost.
