Larvae of Northern European Noctuidae

The systematic part contains the families Nolidae and Noctuidae, of which subfamilies Sarrothripinae, Eariasinae, Chloephoridae, Raphiinae, Pantheinae Acronictinae, Dilobiinae, Bryophilinae, Rivuliinae, Herminiinae, Strepsimaninae, Trisatelinae, Hypeninae, Catocalinae, Gonopterinae, Calpinae, Aediinae, Eustrotiinae, Eublemmidae, Euteliinae, Plusiinae, Acontiinae, Tytinae, Cuculliinae, Oncocnemidinae, Condicinae, Stiriinae, Amphipyrinae, Psaphidinae, Heliothinae and Pseudeustrotiinae are included. The remaining two volumes (2007, 2009) contain the rest of the Noctuidae. The area covered is situated between Iceland and the Urals, north of Northern Germany, including the British Isles and Russia (north of 52°N).
